Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Sharing the profound sadness of the nation following the death of Her Majesty The Queen, we wish to offer All Saints Church as a place for the whole community to express condolences and pray for The King and The Royal Family. We have opened a book of condolences.

There are services on Sunday 11th September in Bures at 10:30am and Little Cornard at 4:30pm, where special thanksgiving and intercession will be made. The Church of England's online book of condolence is also available.

Our late Queen often spoke of her faith in Jesus Christ and her emulation of his selfless service has touched us all.

Gracious God, we give thanks
for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,
for her faith and her dedication to duty.
Bless our nation as we mourn her death
and may her example continue to inspire us;
through Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

O God, our sovereign and shepherd,
who brought again your Son, Jesus Christ,
from the valley of death,
comfort, we pray,
all The Royal Family
with your protecting presence.
Fill them with your Holy Spirit;
and with your heavenly peace;
and bring them at the last
to your everlasting kingdom;
through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
