First Tuesday Open House
On the first Tuesday of each month throughout the year we have First Tuesday Open House, when the Church is unlocked from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m., making it available for anyone to visit for peace and quiet contemplation.
In the Schoolroom we provide constant refreshments and lunch. This is open to everyone to come and go as they please, offering friendship and hospitality. It has proved to be very popular and we have visits from family tree researchers, walkers and Geocachers, as well as many local people who know where to find us on that day!
Something All Saints Church is really well known for is its beautiful floral decorations during special times of the year, particularly at the Flower Festival when it is enhanced by craft and artworks by local groups and artists.
The Harvest Fair, which usually coincides with the Sponsored Cycle Ride for the Suffolk Historic Churches Trust and is held on the second Saturday in September, precedes the Harvest Festival Evensong service the following day, and usually incorporates a fun dog show.
Christmas & Christingle
From the Christingle service to the decorations in the church with flowers, nightlights, candles, and the Christmas Tree for the Christmas Services, the church always looks beautiful and inviting.
The parish magazine is published three times a year – Easter, Harvest and Christmas – and is distributed free of charge to all households in Little Cornard.
